Teens: creative minds

Presented from January 21 until April 25 2027

Adolescence is a time of overflowing human creativity. At no other period in life do we simultaneously possess such great motivation to explore “what is possible” and such ease in learning.

The Teens: Creative Minds exhibition provides an exploration of young people’s brains and shines a light on the creative drive that engulfs them by presenting a dozen teenagers from across Canada who, in the last 100 years, have taken the path of innovation with the aim of changing the world!

Discover 12 inventions, such as: a robotic heart that beats and adapts to the patient’s level of exertion; a “weather harvester” that converts the energy of falling rain into electricity; and the very first superhero, Superman. You can also enjoy a variety of interactive experiences and games: navigate an obstacle course wearing a belt with ultrasonic sensors; construct sentences in Bliss, an ideographic language; match different parts of the brain to their functions; take a test and discover your creative personality type.

The exhibition is produced by the Musée de l’ingéniosité J. Armand Bombardier in collaboration with l’Université de Sherbrooke. This project was made possible through the contribution of the Gouvernement du Canada.
