Accessibility for all
Accredited by the organization Kéroul (defending the rights of persons with physical and other disabilities) in 2003, the Sherbrooke Museum of Nature and Science is proud to be totally accessible to persons who have physical handicaps and mental health issues.
In addition, the Museum offers free admission to those who accompany them and respects all criteria for accessibility. It also promotes the VATL sticker logo, French acronym for access to tourism and leisure events for those with physical and mental health problems and those who accompany them.
In 2006, the Sherbrooke Museum of Nature and Science was awarded the Kéroul special mention prize at a major Quebec tourism awards event, an official recognition of the professionalism of both the staff and institution in dealing with those with reduced abilities.
